A variety of the instruments used by a paperhanger are shown in the next illustrations. Paperhanger's paste brushes are proven in Figs. Fig. 38. Paperhanger's Shears. The rollers are seamless and really resilient. They can be utilized equally as nicely on tough as on smooth walls; they do not want re-overlaying and may be simply cleaned. They can be utilized for stippling paint or paper, or stenciling in oil or water colors. The smoothing roller proven in Fig. Forty four is made with a basis of six-ply Canton flannel and a detachable cambric cowl, held in place by removable ferrules, so that it may be easily changed. The graduating plumb and degree proven in Fig. 46 is fabricated from extremely polished brass and can match any trimmer straight edge without the manipulation of screws by the use of the spring proven within the drawing.
