Getting muscular and building big biceps, thick thighs and boulder shoulders isn't a quick process. Building muscle takes time and consistency in your approach to training and nutrition. The rate of muscle building differs for men and women. Men will naturally build muscle quicker due to their higher levels of testosterone, but for both sexes, [http://106.14.142.95:3000/kerstin03p9294 Titan Rise Health] the rate of muscle gain slows the longer you've been training.5 pounds of muscle per month. Intermediate lifters can gain around 0.5 pound per month, [https://www.cosfertoscana.it/uncategorized/hello-world-2/ Titan Rise Male Enhancement] while advanced lifters may only gain 0.25 pound per month. For women, these numbers drop to 0.5 to one pound for newbies, 0.3 to 0.4 pounds for intermediates and 0.1 to 0.2 for advanced women. Contrary to popular belief, you don't actually build muscle while you're lifting weights. You do need to lift weights to add mass, but training actually causes muscle breakdown. There are three stages of muscle growth. The second stage is an increase in certain hypertrophy-specific hormones, which begins during the session and continues as you rest and recover. The final stage is nutrition - you must consume an excess of calories to repair the damaged muscle tissue, helping it to grow bigger. The actual muscle you build from each workout is minimal and it takes a sustained period of intense training to build any noticeable muscle. For optimal results, consistency is key. Hitting all your scheduled workouts, striving to get bigger and stronger and eating in a small caloric surplus will get you the fastest results possible. The load should be between 70 and 80 percent of your single repetition maximum with around one minute between sets. Keep a log of your food intake and workout routines for reference as you monitor your results. Track your weight, but also track your body fat percentage as that will give you more specific information about the changes taking place.

Why Did I Gain Weight After Working Out? There are several research-backed reasons why you might notice a slight weight gain after exercise. These include muscle gain, water retention, post-workout inflammation, [http://www.techandtrends.com/?s=supplement supplement] use, or even undigested food. In most cases, [https://wiki.novaverseonline.com/index.php/Building_Muscle_After_40:_Tips_And_Ideas_To_Get_Strong_At_Any_Age Titan Rise Nutrition] post-workout weight gain is temporary. Here is what you need to know about gaining weight after working out. Why Did I Gain Weight After Working Out? Gaining weight after working out is likely due to muscle fiber inflammation, muscle glycogen and water weight gain, and over time, muscle mass gain. If weight loss is your goal, seeing an increase on the scale when you've been making an effort to exercise can be frustrating. However, it is often a normal, common occurrence that is likely temporary. Here are some of the reasons why it might be happening to you. You will likely gain muscle when you start working out. How much muscle you gain depends on your diet and the type of workouts you do.

But any increase in physical activity is likely to produce at least some improvements in strength and muscle mass. If you participate in strength training workouts and consume adequate protein, you're likely to see more significant increases in muscle mass. Genetics also play a role in the amount of muscle mass you gain when starting an exercise program. If you tend to gain muscle easily, consider yourself lucky. Muscles help to shape a strong, healthy body. Some people put on muscle more quickly than others. But when you gain muscle, the number on the scale is likely to increase. In fact, even if you're also losing fat, you may see an increase on the scale. Muscle is more dense than fat, but it takes up less space. That means if you gain muscle, your scale weight may go up even as you're losing body fat. If you've been working out regularly, it's possible for you to lose inches even if you're not losing weight.

A higher number on the scale could mean that you are losing fat while gaining muscle-a positive trend that leads to a leaner, stronger body. Water retention is a common cause of temporary weight gain. Pre-menopausal people are especially prone to body-weight fluctuations throughout the month due to hormonal changes. If you have periods, you may notice some degree of bloating immediately before and during your period. Exercise can help reduce pre-menstrual symptoms, so it's helpful to keep up with your workouts, though you may still see an increase on the scale. Studies have shown that fluid retention peaks on the first day of menstrual flow. It is lowest during the mid-follicular period (the middle phase of your cycle) and gradually increases over the 11 days surrounding ovulation. The degree to which you see an increase on the scale varies from person to person, but at least a slight increase in weight-even after exercise-is normal.

Objective: In mouse, PGC1-α overexpression in muscle stimulates an increase in expression of FNDC5, a membrane protein that is cleaved and secreted as a newly identified hormone, irisin. One prior study has shown that FNDC5 induces browning of subcutaneous fat in mice and mediates beneficial effects of exercise on metabolism, but a more recent study using gene expression arrays failed to detect a robust increase in FNDC5 mRNA in human muscles from exercising subjects. No prior study has reported on the physiological regulation and role of [https://www.wordreference.com/definition/circulating%20irisin circulating irisin] and FNDC5 in humans. Materials/methods: A. FNDC5 gene expression studies: We first examined tissue distribution of FNDC5 in humans. B. Cross-sectional studies: Predictors of FNDC5 mRNA expression levels were examined in muscle tissues from 18 healthy subjects with a wide range of BMI. Assays were optimized to measure circulating FNDC5 and irisin levels, and their associations with anthropometric and metabolic parameters were analyzed in two cross-sectional studies that examined 117 middle-aged healthy women and 14 obese subjects, respectively.

C. Interventional studies: The effect of weight loss on FNDC5 mRNA and/or circulating irisin levels was examined in 14 obese subjects before and after bariatric surgery. The effect of acute and chronic exercise was then assessed in 15 young healthy adults who performed intermittent sprint running sessions over an 8 week period. Results: Tissue arrays demonstrated that in humans, the FNDC5 gene is predominantly expressed in muscle. Circulating irisin was detected in the serum or plasma of all subjects studied, whereas circulating FNDC5 was detected in only a distinct minority of the subjects. Cross-sectional studies revealed that circulating irisin levels were positively correlated with biceps circumference (used as a surrogate marker of muscle mass herein), BMI, glucose, ghrelin, and IGF-1. In contrast, [http://service.megaworks.ai/board/bbs/board.php?bo_table=hwang_form&wr_id=3715543 Titan Rise Capsules] irisin levels were negatively correlated with age, insulin, cholesterol, and adiponectin levels, indicating a possible compensatory role of irisin in metabolic regulation. Multivariate regression analysis revealed that biceps circumference was the strongest predictor of circulating irisin levels underlying the association between irisin and metabolic factors in humans at baseline. Both muscle FNDC5 mRNA levels and circulating irisin levels were significantly downregulated 6 months after bariatric surgery. Circulating irisin levels were significantly upregulated 30 min after acute exercise and were correlated mainly with ATP levels and secondarily with metabolites related to glycolysis and [http://mediawiki.copyrightflexibilities.eu/index.php?title=Can_You_Identify_These_Cool_Cars_From_The_80s Titan Rise Male Enhancement] lipolysis in muscle. Conclusions: Similar to mice, the FNDC5 gene is expressed in human muscle. Age and muscle mass are the primary predictors of circulating irisin, with young male athletes having several fold higher irisin levels than middle-aged obese women. Circulating irisin levels increase in response to acute exercise whereas muscle FNDC5 mRNA and circulating irisin levels [https://mondediplo.com/spip.php?page=recherche&recherche=decrease decrease] after surgically induced weight loss in parallel to decrease in body mass. Further studies are needed to study the regulation of irisin levels and its physiological effects in humans and to elucidate the mechanisms underlying these effects.

What Is Body Fat Percentage? What Is a Good Body Fat Percentage for a Male? What Are the Risks of High Body Fat? What Are the Risks of Low Body Fat? What Is a Realistic Body Fat Percentage? You’ve almost certainly heard the term ‘body fat percentage’ before, whether in conversation in the gym changing room, marketing fodder for fitness transformations, or even in a Men’s Health article. With a little bit of know how, the measure can act not just as a motivator on your fitness journey, but better yet, a dependable marker of health. But that begs the question, what is a healthy body fat percentage? When starting on a fitness journey, the odds of you actually sticking to it has been shown to be only 33 per cent,' explains Josh Silverman, head of education at Third Space London. Unlike BMI, this measurement takes into account your lean mass as well as total weight.

Let’s chew the fat about body fat. Fun fact: due to it being so active in the body's functioning, fat is technically an organ. Far from being something to fear or vilify, fat is actually essential for human life. There are different types - brown, white, subcutaneous, visceral - and each has its own function, for better or worse. Visceral fat and subcutaneous fat are the two we're going to focus on here. Visceral fat is stored around internal organs as a protective mechanism, explains Silverman. It’s the first fat that is usually used for fuel when you go on an exercise regime,' he says. This is why you might see the scales go down by your body appears to look the same for the first few weeks.' Visceral fat is the most dangerous kind, but thankfully, it’s also the easiest to lose. The less harmful stuff, subcutaneous fat, is the type that prevents your abs popping.

It’s the one stored between our skin and muscles which give us that ‘fluffy’ look,' explains Silverman. It insulates the skin and acts as stored energy for times where the body doesn’t have food in its system.' Which although evolutionarily important, is practically redundant in today’s landscape where food sources are abundant. What Is Body Fat Percentage? Put simply, your body fat percentage is a measure of the proportion of fat mass in your body. It is the total mass of fat, divided by total body mass, times by 100. If you weigh 100kg and have 10kg of fat, for instance, you'd have 10% body fat. Knowing your body fat percentage can be a good measure of fitness and functionality, says Dr Steven Heymsfield, Titan Rise Male Enhancement professor at Pennington Biomedical Research Centre. For men aged 20-39, a score of above 25 per cent is classed as obese, for gents aged 40-59, this cut off point is raised slightly to 28 per cent.

Why Is Muscular Endurance Important? Muscular endurance is critical to improving stamina and increasing the amount of time you can engage in an activity without growing tired. Muscle and Performance Magazine explains that muscle endurance is important not only to professional athletes but to anyone interested in improving physical fitness and achieving exercise goals. While many people focus on muscle building, Lean on Life explains that muscle endurance is equally important. Muscle tissue can only be increased after it’s broken down and built back up by the body’s reserves. Muscular endurance allows you to exercise more, resulting in more deconstruction and [https://nativeheaven.com/index.php/Where_Are_They_Now Titan Rise Male Enhancement] reconstruction of muscle tissue before you become tired and worn out. Muscle and Performance Magazine further explains that muscular endurance goes hand in hand [https://ajuda.cyber8.com.br/index.php/How_Much_Protein_Do_You_Need_To_Build_Muscle Titan Rise] with overall physical fitness, and both concepts feed into each other. Built Lean claims there are many ways to improve muscular endurance, but not all of them will produce lasting results. The most useful tactics recommended involve slowing increasing the lifting load over time to achieve maximum benefits from a workout routine. It is possible to build muscular endurance over a relatively short period of time through strength training, increased attention to movement, progressive overload, resistance training, session intensity and allowing adequate recovery time between workouts.

If you’re serious about weightlifting, you’ve probably heard the term "progressive overload" before. But what exactly is it? Progressive overload is the steady increase of stress placed on your muscles during exercise over time. You can achieve this through various methods, including increasing weight, reps, or sets. Mind you; this method is not for the faint of heart. As the name suggests, it demands more and more from your muscles. The line that sits between what is within the limit and beyond the limit is extended. Curious? Keep [https://www.thefreedictionary.com/reading reading] to find out more about it. What is Progressive Overload? Progressive overload is a fundamental principle in weightlifting that involves increasing the demands on your muscles over time. This means you need to lift heavier weights, perform more reps, or do more sets to continue progressing. The concept of progressive overload is based on the idea that you need to challenge your body continually to see continued progress and improvements in strength and muscle growth.

When you lift weights, your muscles experience micro-tears, which heal and grow stronger during rest periods. Progressive overload ensures that your muscles are continually challenged, which means they will continue to grow and adapt to the increasing demands you place on them. By gradually increasing the demands on your muscles, you are forcing them to adapt. As a result, they will grow stronger. This is why simply doing the same workout repeatedly without any changes will lead to a plateau. Why is Progressive Overload Important? Progressive overload is essential for building muscle and strength. Without it, your muscles will eventually adapt to your current workout routine, and you will stop seeing results. By gradually increasing the demands on your muscles, you can continue to progress and achieve your fitness goals. To effectively implement progressive overload, you need to track your progress and make changes to adjust to your workout routine regularly.

This could involve increasing your weight, adding more reps or sets, or changing your exercises to target different muscle groups. What are the types of progressive overload? Here, we divide them into weight, volume, and intensity progressions. One type of progressive overload is weight progression. This involves gradually increasing the amount of weight you lift over time. For example, if you are doing a bench press, you start with one hundred pounds and then gradually increase the weight to 110 pounds, 120 pounds, and so on. Increasing the weight forces your muscles to adapt to the new stress, which leads to gains in strength and muscle mass. Another type of progressive overload is volume progression. This involves gradually increasing the total amount of work you do over time. You can do this by increasing the number of sets, reps, or exercises you do in a given workout. For example, with bicep curls, you might start with three sets of ten reps and then gradually increase to four sets of twelve reps, five sets of fifteen reps, and so on.

By increasing the volume, you are again forcing your muscles to adapt to the new stress, which leads to gains in strength and [https://redditpedia.com/index.php/User:JoniBermudez Titan Rise Male Enhancement] muscle mass. The third type of progressive overload is intensity progression. This involves gradually increasing the level of difficulty of your workouts over time. This can be done by decreasing rest time between sets, increasing the tempo of your lifts, or performing more challenging variations of exercises. For example, if you are doing squats, you might start with bodyweight squats and then gradually progress to goblet squats, front squats, and eventually barbell squats. By increasing the intensity, you are once again forcing your muscles to adapt to the new stress, which leads to gains in strength and muscle mass. Now that you know what it is, why it matters, and the types of it, it’s time to jump into the exercise itself. Like anything else in life, doing progressive overload requires planning. Even if the name gives the impression that you have to push your limits, you can’t just overload yourself with every imaginable exercise.
You don't need to overcomplicate your exercises, either, since classic compound movements like deadlifts, shoulder presses, and the like can work multiple muscle groups at once.

Low-carb diets have become a popular weight-loss strategy, but they may not be your best bet for building strength and muscle. Carbohydrates are a crucial source of energy, especially for providing quick fuel during intense exercises, dietitians previously told Business Insider. Enaz said a high-carb diet with weight lifting can be a better strategy for creating a lean, muscular physique. One of his clients, 45-year-old Bobby Liu, achieved better muscle definition, increased his strength, and reduced his belly fat by eating a flexible, high-carb diet. If you're working hard in the gym but not seeing results, you might not be eating enough to build muscle. While a calorie deficit is important for burning fat, undereating by too much can cause you to lose muscle mass instead of fat. Enaz said that's why people don't see results if they cut calories severely. However, you also don't need to overdo it if you're trying to build muscle mass - an extra hundred calories a day can be a good start, Enaz said. Eating more won't necessarily build muscle tissue any quicker, and can lead to fat gain instead. Programs that promise amazing results at lightning speed likely aren't sustainable, and you're better off taking a slow and steady approach to see real, lasting change. Enaz said his approach to fitness often surprises clients who expect a more complicated secret to achieving their goals. But it's not a unique exercise or diet that leads to gains, it's mastering the basics and sticking to them over time, he said.

Why Did I Gain Weight After Working Out? These include muscle gain, water retention, post-workout inflammation, supplement use, or even undigested food. In most cases, post-workout weight gain is temporary. Here is what you need to know about gaining weight after working out. Why Did I Gain Weight After Working Out?
Does Fat Turn into Muscle? Losing fat doesn’t automatically lead to muscle gain. When you’re losing weight, your body uses fat for energy. To [https://www.gov.uk/search/all?keywords=maintain maintain] or build muscle, try to do regular strength training and eat more protein. Trying to lose fat and build muscle is a common goal for many people. Among the many fitness myths out there, one of the most popular is the idea that you can turn fat into muscle through weight training and a healthy lifestyle. However, the process of fat loss and muscle building isn’t quite that simple. This article explains how to lose fat and build muscle in a healthy, sustainable way. Does fat turn into muscle? The simple answer is no. Turning fat into muscle is physiologically impossible, as muscle and fat are made up of different cells. A good analogy to this would be that you cannot turn a banana into an apple - they’re two separate things.

Muscle comes in three forms: skeletal, cardiac (heart), and [http://wiki.rumpold.li/index.php?title=Benutzer:AlfieMidgett88 Titan Rise Experience] smooth (mostly found in the intestine). Skeletal muscle tissue comprises bundles of muscle fibers known as myofibrils. Myofibrils contain smaller fibers that consist of long chains of amino acids, which are the building blocks of protein. Contrarily, body fat - also known as adipose tissue - comprises triglycerides, which consist of a glycerol backbone and three fatty acid chains. Since fat and muscle tissue have entirely different cellular makeups, you can’t turn fat into muscle or vice versa. What changes during weight loss? Weight loss is most often a combination of losing fat, muscle, and glycogen stores (water weight). To lose weight, you must achieve a calorie deficit by eating fewer calories than your body needs daily, increasing physical activity to burn calories, or a combination of both. Yet, too large of a calorie deficit can lead to a rapid muscle mass loss, [https://xn--kgbec7hm.my/index.php/What_Could_Cause_A_High_Idle Titan Rise Experience] as the body will break down muscle to be used as an emergency fuel source.

During a moderate calorie deficit, body fat is used as fuel to support the body’s regular functions. Known as beta oxidation, this process produces carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. These are both exhaled during breathing and excreted via urine and sweat. To preserve muscle mass during weight loss, it’s recommended to engage in strength training at least 2-3 times per week. During weight loss, fat is converted into usable energy and byproducts. To preserve muscle mass, it’s important to stick to a moderate calorie deficit, eat plenty of protein, and strength train a few times per week. If you’re looking to lose fat and build muscle, here’s how you can do it in a healthy, sustainable way. To lose fat, the body must be in a calorie deficit. You can achieve a calorie deficit by increasing your physical activity, eating fewer calories, or a combination of both. Examples of moderate intensity cardio include walking, [https://git.nuansa.co.id/teri82u6615021 Titan Rise Male Enhancement] running, or biking for over 20 minutes while still being able to talk with limited struggle.

Meanwhile, strength training helps preserve and build muscle and can increase the body’s metabolic rate for upwards of 72 hours. Thus, combining these two forms of exercise along with a minimally processed, whole food diet will support the body in achieving a calorie deficit. If you’re trying to build muscle and lose fat at the same time, it’s important to engage in strength training. Strength training combined with a high protein diet helps build new muscle cells through a process known as muscle protein synthesis. Muscle is built from a diet high in dietary nitrogen, mostly found in protein-rich foods. To maintain muscle during weight loss, be sure to eat enough protein and avoid a large calorie deficit. Sustainable fat loss while preserving muscle includes eating at a [https://www.medcheck-up.com/?s=moderate%20calorie moderate calorie] deficit, consuming adequate protein, and engaging in both cardio (aerobic) exercise and strength training 5-7 days per week. It’s a myth that you can turn fat into muscle. During weight loss, fat is taken from fat cells and used to produce energy in the body along with other byproducts. Ideally, muscle is preserved through strength training and consuming a protein-rich diet.

Maintaining a consistent workout routine is crucial for achieving a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Sure, you won’t have worked out your pecs and you may think that that’s the only muscle group that matters for bench pressing, but for compound movements, you need more than just your primary muscle group to be rested for the lift. If you go to the gym at peak times this is obviously easier said than done, as compound lifting stations are by and large the most crowded. While this may tempt you to begin with isolation exercises to maximize your gym time, it will prove beneficial if you stay patient. There are two schools of thought on how you can use your rep count to maximize your muscle gains. Many people ask how many reps for mass? Doing fewer reps per set allows you to use more power. This will ultimately help you build more strength. If you insist on keeping your total reps the same, you can always just switch your reps and sets so that 4 sets of 8 reps becomes 8 sets of 4 reps. The other school of thought is to increase your reps while decreasing your weight. This will let you focus on your form. Form can be a large driver on how to gain muscle mass.

Being able to truly master your form will not only let you do the exercise correctly, but it will help you avoid injury and boost your ability to lift heavy when you need to because the movement will be flawlessly ingrained in your muscle memory. It’s also a good idea to take it slow when changing your grip. That allows you to focus on your form and see how the new grip changes the rhythm of the movement that you’re used to. This small and simple change can be a great addition to your workouts, as well as a way to vary your current routine without a drastic overhaul of your workout. Pyramid training is great. It lets you get in a lot of reps and sets across a large weight range. But that begs the question, what is a healthy body fat percentage? When starting on a fitness journey, the odds of you actually sticking to it has been shown to be only 33 per cent,' explains Josh Silverman, head of education at Third Space London. Unlike BMI, [http://www.intellipelle.com/2017/04/01/taking-a-team-approach-to-wellness/ TitanRise Official] this measurement takes into account your lean mass as well as total weight.

Knowing your body fat percentage can be a good measure of fitness and functionality, says Dr Steven Heymsfield, professor at Pennington Biomedical Research Centre. For men aged 20-39, a score of above 25 per cent is classed as obese, for gents aged 40-59, this cut off point is raised slightly to 28 per cent.

Although higher percentage can represent health risks, the goal should never be to reduce body fat as far as possible: we're talking about [https://www.exeideas.com/?s=gym-goers gym-goers] who strive to get their score as low as possible, aiming for that worrying point where ripped meets translucent. We’re certainly not suggesting you go that low. Pushing your body fat percentage below five per cent is very risky,' says Heymsfield. What Is a Good Body Fat Percentage for a Male? The Royal College of Nursing defines a healthy body fat range as 8-20 per cent for 20-39 year old men, rising to 11-22 per cent if you’re between 40 and 59. 'The value often cited for healthy men with normal BMIs is 15 per cent,' says Heymsfield. Vascular, lean muscle is one thing, a shrink-wrapped human is another. So, what is a healthy body fat percentage? First you need to accurately measure what you’re working with.
Building muscle isn’t an exact science, so the timeline for growth can differ from person to person. However, some scientific truths about muscle gains can help us develop an accurate understanding of how long it takes to build muscle. But how long is required to build muscle? Let’s take a look. Do Sore Muscles Mean Growth? How long does it take to lose muscle? What’s the Science Behind Muscle Growth? The primary goal of resistance training is muscle hypertrophy, which occurs when you stretch the muscle fibers until they tear slightly and then repair. Each time they tear and repair themselves, they grow stronger. Amino acids are vital for muscle repair.

They are the building blocks that are most commonly found in protein. Your body will constantly use the protein that enters your body, but if you don’t have enough protein coming in, you won’t see noticeable muscle growth. Taking in more protein than your body uses allows your muscle fibers to grow. Not getting enough protein can actually cause muscle loss. Protein synthesis increases both from the protein you eat along with the resistance workouts you do. So working on both your diet and your weight-lifting routine can make all the difference. Protein isn’t the only thing that affects muscle growth, though, Hormones like testosterone, [https://shaderwiki.studiojaw.com/index.php?title=Can_You_Build_Muscle_As_A_Vegetarian Titan Rise Male Enhancement] growth hormones, and other nutrients also contribute to your growth. You’ll also notice that your strength has increased with muscle growth while you’ll likely feel a little weaker and more fatigue with fat gain. We’ll go into more detail later on in this article. The dynamics of muscle gain vs. If you’re gaining muscle, you’ll be focusing on resistance training and eating more grams of protein. If you’re gaining fat, you’ll eat more carelessly and won’t perform the same resistance strength training. For most people trying to gain muscle and avoid fat, diet is the biggest hurdle. You’ll likely be working out, but your calorie intake will be a problem. You might fail to get enough good calories and protein, which means your muscles suffer. So focus on eating good high-calorie foods like starchy carbs, fruits, nuts, and dairy. These will give your body the calories and protein necessary to build those amino acids and repair your muscles properly.

Whether you’re at the start of your muscle-gaining journey or toward the end, it can help your progress to know what to expect. Let’s look at how quickly you can build muscle no matter where you are in your journey. Men who are just starting to lift will experience a longer time frame of building muscle compared with those who have been working for the last 10 years to achieve the same goal. Let’s assume that you’re sticking to a rigid training plan and eating all the right foods to promote muscle growth. These gains of 0.5 lbs to 2 lbs per month typically last about a year for newbies. However, some will experience faster or slower gains depending on a few factors. Genetics, experience in fitness, consistent training intensity, and diet will all impact these numbers. Muscle gains tend to decrease after the first year of training, so experienced lifters will see a different trajectory of growth.

If you want to continue gaining, you must put in the work, lifting heavier weights, doing different exercises, getting enough calories, eating the right foods, and even using supplements. Men and women also gain muscle at different rates. A man will typically gain muscle twice as fast as a woman will. That means a woman can expect 0.5-1lb of muscle every month. So while a man could gain 20-24lbs of muscle in the first year with proper training and diet, a woman will only gain 10-12lbs of muscle. Gains also slow significantly after the first year for both men and women. Women will also see about half the amount of gains as men after the first year. So while a man might gain a pound of muscle per month during the second year, a woman will only gain about 0.5 lbs of monthly mass. While muscle growth never stops, most people will start to see a decrease in gains after age 40. This is primarily due to your aging body losing about 1% of your muscle mass every year after age 40. So while you’re still gaining muscle from your workouts, you’ll compete against natural muscle loss of age.
Eating clean green food keeps junk like chemicals and toxins out of the body which helps to maintain that must-have gorgeous complexion and mandatory svelte physique. Models are paid to be beautiful. So, why not take a nod from their diets and green yours too? Andrea Orbeck, who is pretty much the go-to personal trainer to for a slew of Victoria's Secret models (including Heidi Klum and Karolina Kurkova), not only helps her clients out when it comes to exercise, but she has a serious say in their diets too. While genetics undeniably plays a role, their appearance has much to do with their nutritional regimen. Muscle tone and shape, skin quality, intestinal function and energy levels all require ingredients that provide more healthy opportunities to thrive and compliment a fitness routine that focuses on fat loss, muscle shape and mental wellness. That's why Andrea puts all of her models and clients on green and organic diets.

On the next page, discover why supermodels eat organic. Protein provides the amino acids- essential to repair tissue, and build and beautify skin, hair, nails-- and cartilage. Because the body does not store protein, supermodels eat healthy protein everyday including eggs, lena beef, chicken, fish, turkey, tofu, beans or cheese. Organic sources are better for your health, the environment and the earth in general. Compared to mass-produced and drug injected sources, organic protein sources offer more "good" fats, and fewer "bad" fats. They are richer in antioxidants; including vitamins E, beta-carotene, and Vitamin C. Organic protein has also been found to be leaner. Want proof? A 6-ounce steak from a grass-finished steer can have 100 fewer calories than a 6-ounce steak from a grain-fed steer. If you eat a typical amount of beef (66.5 pounds a year), switching to lean grass-fed beef will save you 17,733 calories a year--without requiring any willpower or change in your eating habits.

Now that's a supermodel attitude! A deficient intake may cause fatigue, muscle cramps, and poor mental function. Not good when sauntering down a runway in 5-inch heels. Over-consumption. Poor carb choices and ridiculous portion size has lead to the war against carbs. In moderation and from green and organic sources, carbs will provide you will steady energy, while filling your body up with natural fiber and essential vitamins. Healthy carbs include: 10-grain, pumpernickel, rye, sourdough, whole grain tortillas, even flax seed tortillas, bran cereals, oatmeal (slow cook, not instant- which is often stripped of its fiber for faster cooking), brown rice, beans, even high-fiber veggies and fruits like: beets, sweet potatoes, yams, broccoli, brussel sprouts, berries, apples, mangoes, and [http://cheongbong.com/bbs/board.php?bo_table=free&wr_id=529345 Titan Rise Daily] watermelon. Omega-3s are most abundant in seafood- and certain nuts and seeds such as flaxseeds and walnuts, but they are also found in animals raised on pasture. The reason is simple. When cattle are taken off omega-3 rich grass and shipped to a feedlot to be fattened on omega-3 poor grain, they begin losing their store of this beneficial fat. Each day that an animal spends in the feedlot, its supply of omega-3s is diminished. Look at the "sodium" content in the nutritional facts to figure out how high your favorites rate. White Breads and Pastas are often made from refined white flour, which pale in comparison to whole wheat. Packaged High-Calorie Snack Foods, like chips and cheese snacks may be convenient, but they are also high-fat, sugar, and carbs. Oh, and they tend to totally lack any nutritional components so why waste the calories? Frozen Dinners, even lots of the "healthier options" tend to contain loads of sodium, carbs, sugars, and chemicals. Again, check the box. Packaged cakes, cookies, desserts. Just forget about them. Boxed and bagged Meal Mixes can be alluring thanks to their easy prep, but aside from the fact that they are frozen and generally not organic, the sauces can be loaded with fat, salt, sugar, and chemicals. Sugary Breakfast Cereals. Note the "sugary" part. Processed Meats!! Ugh!
While many of us are experts at gaining weight accidentally, what about intentional and healthy weight gain? I'm talking about putting on some lean muscle mass. At first, it might sound easy, but promoting muscle growth can be tricky for a lot of people. It requires an optimal balance of diet, training, rest, and consideration of a number of individual factors. It's not as simple as eating more food and lifting weights. So regardless of where you are with your muscle-building goals, here is key information, backed by the latest science and experts, to help you get the most gains possible. Reach your full muscle-building potential with this free meal prep toolkit. Save time and money on your meal prep, and maximize gains with this simple step-by-step guide. Muscle growth is the act of increasing the physical size of your lean tissue. This can be accomplished by adding mass and changing your body composition through a combination of training, diet, and lifestyle.

Muscle growth always involves a form of weight gain, because you are adding additional muscle tissue. Even when fat loss occurs simultaneously and overall body weight decreases, increasing the size of your muscles will automatically mean increasing the weight of your lean mass. Why is Muscle Important? Maintaining your muscle mass is one of the best things you can do for your health. More muscle typically equals more strength and being strong often equates to improved bone and joint health, which can reduce the risk of injury from falls and brittle bones. A higher lean body mass may also have protective health benefits against various chronic diseases, including obesity. Muscle does wonders for maintaining your weight and body composition for the long haul. The more lean tissue you have, the easier it is to stay active and maintain a healthy weight. This is because a higher percent lean body mass (LBM) often means a higher body weight- but you will often look more lean, toned, and smaller than someone at the same weight with less muscle mass and more body fat.

And a higher body weight means you can eat more calories and [https://old.newcroplive.com/video/planet-startups-oct-3-2020/ Titan Rise Experience] stay the same size. You store key nutrients in your muscles, including glycogen (primarily from carbs). And having more muscle often means you can process more dietary carbs efficiently and utilize your calories better. And lastly, increased muscle mass may make you a better athlete, or at the very least support your overall fitness goals. People tend to think that losing weight alone is going to get them that six pack they've always wanted, Titan Rise Male Enhancement but you can only reveal what you've already got, meaning you won't look [https://en.search.wordpress.com/?q=shredded shredded] or ripped unless you've built up some muscle definition underneath. It is important to distinguish between muscle mass and muscle quality in some individuals. Just having more muscle does not always lead to the health benefits noted above. It is possible to have a large amount of muscle without having improved strength and body composition, such as in the case of obesity.

Obese individuals are capable of having more muscle than others but often suffer from poor muscle quality due to lack of exercise and lifestyle factors (4). Thus, it is key to focus on overall body composition and a healthy lifestyle overall, including strength training, not just gaining muscle mass alone. This is also why emphasis should be on gaining healthy weight. Any weight gain in a calorie surplus will involve some amount of muscle and some increases in body fat. The key is to tip the odds in favor of more muscle mass than fat. This results in better body composition and fitness outcomes. Muscles respond to calories, protein, exercise, and rest, and the balance of these key components can determine how efficiently you can gain muscle. In short, to promote muscle growth you need to eat more calories and protein, train your muscles, and allow time for recovery and rebuilding of tissue-eat, lift and rest.

But this explanation is drastically simplified and muscle growth tends to be fairly complex. The amount of muscle you can actually gain and how quickly is determined by many factors including genetics, food choices, training level, and hormones. And your starting body composition may also be an important factor to consider. Building muscle typically requires total body weight gain, but not always - it is possible to gain muscle in a calorie deficit. However, this option may only exist for some people. The most efficient way to gain mass for most people is through increased calories and weight gain overall. Resistance training stimulates the release of growth hormone. GH then stimulates the release of IGF-1 from the liver, which promotes the use of fat for energy in the growth process, also preserving stored glucose in muscles, and stimulates the absorption of amino acids for use. Testosterone works to further enhance this process and stimulate more muscle fiber engagement to promote growth.
In 2004, only 17.5% of women in the United States participated in strength training two or more times per week.

Fast-forward 16 years, and in 2020 it was reported that 26.9% of women met the guidelines for muscle-strengthening physical activity. So, let’s turn this myth on its head and talk about how women who have a goal of gaining muscle can do so safely and effectively through resistance training. Before we get into the "how" of weight training, [http://cloud4.co.kr/bbs/board.php?bo_table=data&wr_id=564268 Titan Rise Supplement] let’s look at some proven principles and clear up some misconceptions. To stimulate muscle growth, or hypertrophy, a stimulus must be placed on the muscle. Some women, in response to a fear of "getting big," tend to stick with weights that they are comfortable using for a full three sets. However, a greater stimulus must be placed on the muscles to see any real changes. You need to get out of your comfort zone using appropriate load progressions and put greater physiological demands on your muscles. Once you can make this paradigm shift in your mind, you will be able to make substantial progress in both your strength and muscle gains.

Generally, it is recommended to increase your load in 5% increments until the weights are heavy enough to complete each set within the goal repetition range. For example, if you currently bench press 10 repetitions using 100 pounds (45 kg), increase to 105 pounds (48 kg) to see if this decreases the number of repetitions you can perform. If you can still complete 10 repetitions on your next set, add another 5 pounds (2.3 kg). Women often underestimate their strength and, by default, grab lighter weights. This is a mistake. Instead, choose a weight that can be lifted 10 times, with the last two repetitions posing a significant challenge. It is important to maintain good form throughout the set, so as soon as you notice your form starting to fail, reduce the amount of weight being lifted or take a rest. The goal is to lift heavy and well, not lift heavy and get hurt.

Be sure to have a spotter when performing exercises such as a back squat, bench press and overhead press, especially when learning a new exercise or going up in weight. The typical recommendation for [https://www.cbsnews.com/search/?q=building building] muscle is to complete three to six sets of six to 12 reps of an exercise. If you choose a heavier weight and do fewer repetitions (e.g., three to six), you’re more likely to gain muscular strength, while using lighter weights and higher repetitions lead to gains in muscular endurance. If you’re aiming for greater strength, take a little extra rest time between sets (2 to 5 minutes). If your primary goal is to increase muscle size, reduce the amount of rest you take between sets (30 to 90 seconds). One of the most important elements of achieving muscle gains is consistency, so aim to weight train four to five days a week, if possible. Recording your exercises and [http://shop.ororo.co.kr/bbs/board.php?bo_table=free&wr_id=4028491 Titan Rise Male Enhancement] weights in a journal is a great way to track gains.

You can have good intentions to lift heavy, but the only way to know if you are getting stronger is by writing down the sets, reps and weights used during each workout. Another thing to consider is the breakdown of your weight-training sessions. Will you perform total-body workouts or focus exclusively on upper- or lower-body exercises? Or maybe two body parts per workout? Whatever you end up deciding, the key is consistency and overload. There are countless ways to create a workout to gain muscle mass. Ideally, perform exercises requiring larger muscle groups first, such as squat/squat variations, bench press, deadlifts, lat pull-downs and overhead press. Doing so enables you to expend greater energy on these movements, while still being able to perform well on movements involving smaller muscles/muscle groups toward the end of your workout. Choose six to eight exercises to perform on any given day. You can split them up into circuits or do them separately, utilizing rest periods between sets that are specific to your training goals.

NOT THAT LONG ago, guys over 50 were likely to think they should be doing a light jog or a round of golf. But pumping iron? That’s a young man’s game, the thinking went. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have plenty of clients over 50 hitting the weights hard and building serious muscle. Some are even getting downright jacked and in the best shape of their lives. I, too, am enjoying some of the best workouts of my life at 51. And after three decades of lifting weights, I’m still making slow but steady improvements-especially when I work with the realities of being over 50, rather than try to ignore them. IT'S MUCH HARDER to build new muscle tissue than it is to maintain what you’ve already built, especially as you get older. But while you won’t be adding pounds and pounds of new muscle every month after 50, it’s still possible to make incremental gains in strength and eventually muscle size, especially if you treat [https://americanspeedways.net/index.php/Treatments_For_Bladder_Control_Problems_Urinary_Incontinence Titan Rise Nutrition] and recovery as seriously as training.

Even a modest amount of muscle gain combined with low body fat levels makes a huge visual impact. AFTER AGE 50, avoiding injury replaces progression as your number-one priority. First, that means never working through pain. If something hurts, stop immediately and try a different exercise for the same muscle group, or move onto something else. It also means moving away from "riskier" exercises towards those with a better safety profile. For example, a barbell shoulder press is a great exercise, but the dumbbell variation with a neutral grip (palms facing) is a lot safer for long-term shoulder health. Lastly, [http://classicalmusicmp3freedownload.com/ja/index.php?title=%E5%88%A9%E7%94%A8%E8%80%85:GailSelby8 Titan Rise Male Enhancement] lighten up the loads. While heavy weights are still the best for strength, studies show that lighter loads in the 6- to 30-rep range will all build muscle equally well, as long as you are working hard during those sets. And lighter weights are easier to handle and pose less risk of injury.

In my training, I always loved doing sets of incline barbell presses for 4 to 6 reps but the wear and tear on my shoulders became too much to endure. After switching to incline dumbbell presses for sets of 12 to 15 reps, my shoulder pain improved almost immediately, replaced by more "good soreness" where I really wanted it: in the pecs. THE IDEA THAT older lifters need to work out less is a myth. It’s true that after 50, "use it or lose it" becomes reality, so try to do something every day. That doesn't mean daily, crushing, weight training workouts, but rather a mix of activities that also makes recovery a high priority. So while a 25-year-old guy looking to pack on muscle might weight train hard for five days a week, someone over 50 might lift weights three days a week, do a Peloton class on two other days, and maybe swim or play a round of golf or walk on the remaining days.

RIGID TRAINING SPLITS, must-do exercises, and a "go heavy or go home" mindset are all best left to younger lifters. "Keep the consistency streak alive" is the over-50 mantra, and requires a flexible approach to exercise. In practice, that means having alternative exercises at the ready if what you had planned feels off, or having scaled-back workouts in your back pocket for when you’re forced to use a small hotel gym or [http://yonghengro.gain.tw/viewthread.php?tid=2051126&extra= Titan Rise Male Enhancement] even your own body weight. Flexibility also gives you the freedom to push a weight training workout to tomorrow and go for a brisk walk instead on days you feel like you just don’t physically or mentally have it. OVER-50 TRAINING REALLY begins when you turn 40. Or at least it should. Many lifters approach their 40s with a big chip on their shoulder, attacking the weights harder than even their 20-something counterparts as a way of proving that "age is just a number." This rarely ends well, and usually leads to entering your 50s injured, frustrated, and humbled. A much smarter approach is to use your 40s as a transition decade, where you start playing a longer, safer game. That means never working through pain, avoiding or at least limiting high-risk lifts (even if they still feel good today), working harder on mobility, and optimizing lifestyle, recovery, and stress management. If you don’t get this message until you’re 50, there’s still time to be smart. Just follow the strategies above and you’ll get back on the winning track. This is just the beginning.

Why Did I Gain Weight After Working Out? There are several research-backed reasons why you might notice a slight weight gain after exercise. These include muscle gain, water retention, post-workout inflammation, supplement use, or even undigested food. In most cases, post-workout weight gain is temporary. Here is what you need to know about gaining weight after working out. Why Did I Gain Weight After Working Out? Gaining weight after working out is likely due to muscle fiber inflammation, muscle glycogen and water weight gain, and over time, muscle mass gain. If weight loss is your goal, seeing an increase on the scale when you've been making an effort to exercise can be frustrating. However, it is often a normal, common occurrence that is likely temporary. Here are some of the reasons why it might be happening to you. You will likely gain muscle when you start working out. The muscular systems in vertebrates are controlled through the nervous system although some muscles (such as the cardiac muscle) can be completely autonomous. Together with the skeletal system in the human, it forms the musculoskeletal system, which is responsible for the movement of the body. There are three distinct types of muscle: skeletal muscle, cardiac or heart muscle, and smooth (non-striated) muscle. Muscles provide strength, balance, posture, movement, and heat for the body to keep warm. There are more than 600 muscles in an adult male human body. A kind of elastic tissue makes up each muscle, which consists of thousands, or tens of thousands, of small muscle fibers. Each fiber comprises many tiny strands called fibrils, impulses from nerve cells control the contraction of each muscle fiber.

Skeletal muscle, is a type of striated muscle, [http://www.jfva.org/test/yybbs/yybbs.cgi?list=thread boost endurance] composed of muscle cells, called muscle fibers, which are in turn composed of myofibrils. Myofibrils are composed of sarcomeres, the basic building blocks of striated muscle tissue. Upon stimulation by an action potential, skeletal muscles perform a coordinated contraction by shortening each sarcomere. The best proposed model for understanding contraction is the sliding filament model of muscle contraction. Within the sarcomere, actin and myosin fibers overlap in a contractile motion towards each other. The myosin heads move in a coordinated style; they swivel toward the center of the sarcomere, detach, and then reattach to the nearest active site of the actin filament. This is called a ratchet-type drive system. This process consumes large amounts of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the energy source of the cell. ATP binds to the cross-bridges between myosin heads and actin filaments. The release of energy powers the swiveling of the myosin head. When ATP is used, it becomes adenosine diphosphate (ADP), and since muscles store little ATP, they must continuously replace the discharged ADP with ATP.
[https://www.consumersearch.com/family-pets/top-reasons-download-path-titans-pc-today?ad=dirN&qo=serpIndex&o=740007&origq=titan+rise+male+enhancement consumersearch.com]

Muscle tissue also contains a stored supply of a fast-acting recharge chemical, creatine phosphate, which when necessary can assist with the rapid regeneration of ADP into ATP. Calcium ions are required for each cycle of the sarcomere. Calcium is released from the sarcoplasmic reticulum into the sarcomere when a muscle is stimulated to contract. This calcium uncovers the actin-binding sites. When the muscle no longer needs to contract, the calcium ions are pumped from the sarcomere and back into storage in the sarcoplasmic reticulum. There are approximately 639 skeletal muscles in the human body. Heart muscle is striated muscle but is distinct from skeletal muscle because the muscle fibers are laterally connected. Furthermore, just as with smooth muscles, their movement is involuntary. Heart muscle is controlled by the sinus node influenced by the autonomic nervous system. Smooth muscle contraction is regulated by the autonomic nervous system, hormones, and local chemical signals, allowing for gradual and sustained contractions. This type of muscle tissue is also capable of adapting to different levels of stretch and Titan Rise Male Enhancement tension, Titan Rise Male Enhancement which is important for maintaining proper blood flow and the movement of materials through the digestive system.

Neuromuscular junctions are the focal point where a motor neuron attaches to a muscle. Acetylcholine, (a neurotransmitter used in skeletal muscle contraction) is released from the axon terminal of the nerve cell when an action potential reaches the microscopic junction called a synapse. A group of chemical messengers across the synapse and stimulate the formation of electrical changes, which are produced in the muscle cell when the acetylcholine binds to receptors on its surface. Calcium is released from its storage area in the cell's sarcoplasmic reticulum. An impulse from a nerve cell causes calcium release and brings about a single, short muscle contraction called a muscle twitch. If there is a problem at the neuromuscular junction, a very prolonged contraction may occur, such as the muscle contractions that result from tetanus. Also, a loss of function at the junction can produce paralysis. Skeletal muscles are organized into hundreds of motor units, each of which involves a motor neuron, attached by a series of thin finger-like structures called axon terminals.

Having diabetes won’t stop you from building muscle. However, it’s wise to follow a few precautions when it comes to gaining muscle. There are many different types of exercise and Titan Rise Male Enhancement one of the most popular is strength or power training, which is very effective for building strong bones and muscles. As well as being good for the heart, they also improve weight control and help the body remain sensitive to the hormone insulin, which is vital for [https://edition.cnn.com/search?q=keeping%20blood keeping blood] sugar levels in check and preventing or controlling type 2 diabetes. Protein intake is vital for building muscle. However, your body constantly drains its protein reserves for other uses such as producing hormones, resulting in less protein available for muscle building. To counteract this, you need to build and store new proteins faster than your body breaks down old proteins. You should look to consume about 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight , which is roughly the maximum amount your body can use in a day.

Remember, the more protein your body stores (protein synthesis), the larger your muscles grow. Protein shakes are very effective for improving strength. While many trainers have a post-workout shake, research has shown that drinking a shake containing at least 6 grams of amino acids - the muscle-building blocks of protein - and 35 grams of carbohydrates 30-60 minutes before exercising increases your protein synthesis more than drinking the same shake after training. "Since exercise increases bloodflow to your working tissues, drinking a carbohydrate-protein mixture before your workout may lead to greater uptake of the amino acids in your muscles," says Kevin Tipto, PhD, an exercise and nutrition researcher at the University of Texas. Good quality whey-protein powders usually contain at least 30 grams of protein per serving, as well as a healthy supply of vitamins and minerals. Other liquid supplements such as weight-gain powders can also provide a lot of high quality protein and nutrients in each serving, but they also tend to be extremely high in calories, carbohydrates and sugar.

While this is sufficient for most weight lifters, it is not ideal for those with conditions such as type 2 diabetes, [https://hwekimchi.gabia.io/bbs/board.php?bo_table=free&tbl=&wr_id=1066683 natural male enhancement supplement] for whom weight loss may be a key goal. If you’re new to weight lifting or strength training, just about any workout will be intense enough to increase protein synthesis and build muscle. However, if you’re experienced with weights, you’ll see the biggest and fastest results by focusing on the large muscle groups, like the back, legs and chest. The best exercises for these body parts are squats, dead-lifts, bench press, leg press, pull-ups, bent-over rows, shoulder press and dips. Add two or three sets of 8 or 12 repetitions to your workout, with about 60 seconds’ rest between sets. Post-workout meals or snacks should be high in carbohydrates and protein. Carbohydrates are needed to fuel exercise. As well as being a vital energy source they also play a role in the release of insulin, which regulates levels of blood sugar and is also the body’s most potent anabolic hormone.

However, people with diabetes are generally advised to limit their carb intake to keep their blood sugar levels under control as their bodies struggle to produce insulin or don’t use the insulin produced effectively. The problem with this though is that a lack of stored carbs can result in the body using protein for energy production, thus leaving less protein for building muscle. The key is to cut out bad carbs such as. Foods with good carbs generally have a lower glycemic index (GI), which means they tend to break down slowly to form glucose. Low GI foods also have a high nutritional value and provide prolonged release of energy. Adequate water consumption is one of the most overlooked factors in exercise. Water comprises up to 70% of the human body and if you’re dehydrated, your muscle size suffers as well. The other way of looking at it is that one pound of muscle can hold up to three pounds of water. Rest is another hugely overlooked factor in building strong, lean muscle. The simple fact is that after an intense workout, Titan Rise Male Enhancement the body needs the proper nutrients and recovery time to grow bigger and stronger. In fact, your muscles grow when you’re resting, not when you’re working out. If you’re a beginner, do a full-body workout followed by a day of rest. Alternatively look at setting aside at least 3 days of rest each week. A common misconception among the general public is that all types of fat are bad for you.

Today's consumer of whey protein is more likely to be a bodybuilder than the arachnophobic heroine of a nursery rhyme. But the food is the same -- sort of. Curds and whey were probably something like cottage cheese. Whey protein is a nutritional supplement that comes from milk. It's isolated from the rest of the milk through various purification processes. Only 20 percent of milk's protein is whey. The rest is casein (itself an ingredient of many other protein supplements). Casein is the protein that [https://www.innovationtriggers.com/ triggers] most milk allergies, so whey protein -- if it's relatively pure -- may be a way for people with allergies to get dairy proteins into their diets. However, it can still set off some allergic reactions, and it can trigger lactose intolerance as well, so proceed with caution. The makers of nutritional supplements tout whey protein as a way to build lean muscle mass, recover from workouts and lose weight.

Some doctors urge caution, though. No one questions that whey protein can be an effective source of dietary protein, but do you need it at all? And what happens if you don't need it and consume it anyway? This article will tell you a bit more about whey protein, [http://stephankrieger.net/index.php?title=The_7_Best_Carbs_For_Muscle_Growth Titan Rise Nutrition] which could offer benefits to weightlifters and dieters alike. But it can cause some side effects that are a bit scarier than spiders. Read on. It helps your cells grow, replace themselves and repair themselves. In fact, protein is a component of every major body system and every fluid except bile and urine. Your body makes some proteins on its own, from the 12 amino acids it can produce. The other nine amino acids you must get from dietary protein. Whey protein is one such source, and it provides all nine amino acids. Basically, it works in your body the same way, say, a steak does.

The faster your body gets the protein, the more quickly it can start building new muscle. And most whey protein is low-fat or fat-free, whereas a steak is not. The amount of protein the body needs depends on the body. Opinions vary as to how best to calculate it, but you should take into account your body weight, your body fat composition, your activity level and your nutritional goals. What if you consume more than that? The protein you don't need doesn't get stored as muscle-in-waiting. Your body breaks it down into amino acids, then into fatty acids and sugars. These chemicals travel to the liver, which converts them into cholesterol and fat. Read on for a look at the potential benefits of whey protein. The answer is probably less than you think. If you eat a two-egg omelet with cheese, you've probably had as much protein as you need all day. Most adults need only two or three servings, and a serving is fairly small: two or three ounces of fish; one egg; a few spoonfuls of peanut butter; an ounce of cheese; half a cup of beans.

These bodies aren't just maintaining, they're producing. In fact, you can't build muscle without what's called a "positive protein balance." That means your protein synthesis -- your production of protein -- must be greater than the destruction of muscle the exercise causes. To boost protein synthesis, [https://controlsanat.ir/dt_gallery/black-white/ Titan Rise Nutrition] some physicians recommend consuming protein after a workout. For athletes -- and the people who want to look like them -- the form of that protein can be important. If you're trying to lose weight, maintain your heart health or achieve lean bodybuilder-style definition, the fat, cholesterol and calories associated with many forms of protein could be a problem. That's why some people turn to supplements. Whey protein isolate is fat-free, and it's filling. It also has a very high biological value, or BV. BV is a measure of the body's ability to absorb a protein. Basically, whey protein is pure, no-frills protein, designed to be absorbed thoroughly and quickly.
[https://us-en-titanrise.com/ us-en-titanrise.com]

Once you get the right design, Markin figured, it made sense to stick with it. Apart from the Model T Ford, then, few automobiles have exhibited less year-to-year revision than the Checker. Checkers were built tough and driven tough. When Markin entered the business in Chicago, competition from rival John Hertz's Yellow Taxi was anything but genteel. A heavier four-door station wagon also went on the market. Except for Titan Rise Male Enhancement their interiors and lack of commercial markings, they were virtually identical to the taxis that prowled the streets of nearly every American city. Longer in wheelbase than the typical American sedan, Checkers were shorter overall, measuring just 199.5 inches. As many as eight passengers could ride in reasonable comfort inside a Superba, through use of optional twin jump seats in the back, enjoying a hump-free floor. Wide doors made it easy to climb in and out. Wagons adopted the ohv engine as standard. Prices ranged from $2,542 for a Superba sedan to $3,004 for a Marathon wagon. Checker customers had a growing option list, including air conditioning, power steering, and an automatic transmission. By the end of the 1960s, the choices included bucket seats, a vinyl roof, two-tone paint, and Powr-Lok rear axle. Sedans reverted to 15-inch tires in 1962. New that year was a Town Custom Limousine on a 129-inch wheelbase (nine inches longer than normal), carrying a hefty $7,500 price tag along with its vinyl top and glassed-in driver's compartment.

Overhead-valve engine output got a boost for 1963, to 141 horsepower. In 1964 the Superba name was dropped, so all standard-size Checkers were called Marathons. Probably the most significant change was a switch from Continental to Chevrolet engines for 1965. The initial list included a 230-cid six (140 bhp), a 283-cid V-8 (195 bhp) for $110 extra, and 327 V-8 (250 bhp). Either an automatic transmission or overdrive was available, at $248 and $108 (respectively). A Marathon Deluxe sedan came in 1966, as well as a lower-priced ($4,541) limousine. Both dropped out the following year, but soon returned. By that time, the basic Marathon was selling for $3,290, a long-wheelbase Deluxe for $3,983, and the limo went for $4,957. At the end of 1968, a 327 V-8 cost an extra $108, and the 350 V-8 brought $194. Perkins diesel power also was available, at an eye-opening $1,279. Checker production slumped in the 1970s when Morris Markin died and his son David took over. By mid-1982, the final Checker rolled off the assembly line. The fact that so many Checkers remain on the street, both in taxi and privately owned form, attests to the practical design and rugged build quality of this unyielding and unusual automobile.
Low levels of testosterone, poor nutritional choices and lack of exercise eventually lead to muscle cells deterioration. Even worse, that process leads to conversion of muscles into fat. Testosterone plays a crucial role in your muscles’ ability to contract and grow. In addition, testosterone helps your body process protein from food and utilize it for muscle development. When your testosterone level is depleted, muscles can no longer contract as effectively, which results in weakness and muscle loss. In addition to maintaining healthy testosterone levels, it is also crucial to exercise in order to [https://www.healthynewage.com/?s=maintain maintain] and build muscle. The saying ‘if you don’t use it, you lose it’ can be accurately applied to muscle mass. In fact, men who don’t regularly exercise lose muscle mass at a rate of 0.5% per year between 25 and 60 years old. That rate of muscle loss doubles every 10 years after that. The final piece of the muscle puzzle is proper nutrition. Since muscles need protein and amino acids to grow, you need to intake a healthy proportion of proteins, fats and carbohydrates. Effective treatment for muscle loss is comprised of testosterone replacement, consistent exercise regimen and healthy nutrition. However, the very first step should be a comprehensive blood test to determine your hormone levels and a conversation with a knowledgeable medical professional.

When starting on a fitness journey, the odds of you actually sticking to it has been shown to be only 33 per cent,' explains Josh Silverman, [http://torrdan.net:80/index.php?title=Why_Does_Your_Sweat_Sometimes_Smell_Like_Ammonia Titan Rise Male Enhancement] head of education at Third Space London. Fun fact: due to it being so active in the body's functioning, fat is technically an organ. Far from being something to fear or vilify, fat is actually essential for human life. There are different types - brown, white, subcutaneous, visceral - and each has its own function, for [http://juicy.iptime.org/board_XAde14/245556 Titan Rise Experience] better or worse. Visceral fat and subcutaneous fat are the two we're going to focus on here. Visceral fat is stored around internal organs as a protective mechanism, explains Silverman.

Knowing your body fat percentage can be a good measure of fitness and functionality, says Dr Steven Heymsfield, professor at Pennington Biomedical Research Centre.
While he had Milwaukee-based industrial designer Brooks Stevens working on emergency updates of the Lark and Hawk, Studebaker president Sherwood Egbert called in Raymond Loewy to design a new generation of Studebaker passenger cars. Loewy, who hadn't worked for Studebaker since 1956, jumped in with enthusiasm, promising Egbert a sporting coupe of revolutionary design, from which a complete line of family cars would evolve. Studebaker quit before the family cars were finished, but Loewy did give Egbert one brief shining moment with the memorable 1963-1964 Studebaker Avanti. Designed in seclusion by Loewy's talented team of Bob Andrews, Tom Kellogg, and John Ebstein, the Avanti (the Italian word for "forward") was a styling sensation. A coke-bottle waist formed the base for a thin-section roof with a huge rear window and a built-in rollbar. Razor-edged front fenders swept back into the curved rear, then into a jacked-up tail. Loewy threw out the conventional grille, putting an air scoop under a thin front bumper, and an asymmetrical hump in the hood.

Inside, ample crash padding was combined with four slim-section vinyl bucket seats and an aircraft-style control panel. The whole package was accepted for Titan Rise Male Enhancement production with hardly any changes from Loewy's small-scale model. It would need a stout platform, so chief engineer Gene Hardig took a beefy Lark convertible frame, shortened and modified it, and fitted anti-sway bars and rear radius rods. The Bendix disc brakes used on the Avanti (as well as some Larks and Hawks) were the first caliper discs in domestic production. The engine was the best V-8 Studebaker had, the faithful 289, which developed 240 bhp in [https://www.buzznet.com/?s=standard standard] ("R1") tune thanks to a 3/4 race high-lift cam, dual-breaker distributor, four-barrel carb, and dual exhausts. Andy Granatelli and Paxton also developed a supercharged "R2" with 290 bhp, and a bored-out 304.5-cid version in three higher stages of tune: R3, R4, and R5. Only nine supercharged R3s were built (with a claimed 335 bhp), and the R4 (unsupercharged) and R5 were experimental.

The latter had two Paxton superchargers, one for each cylinder bank, magneto ignition, and Bendix fuel injection. It developed an incredible 575 horsepower. Go to the next page for more details on the 1963-1964 Studebaker Avanti. In late 1962, Granatelli broke 29 Bonneville speed records with an Avanti R3, traveling faster than anyone had before in a stock American car. Unfortunately, Studebaker failed to deliver Avantis to dealers fast enough to satisfy the initial wave of orders. Unexpected distortion during the fiberglass curing process accounted partly for the delay, forcing the firm to add its own fiberglass body facility. By the time all the bugs were out, most of the customers who'd placed advance orders had given up and bought Corvettes or imports. Fewer than 4,600 Avantis were produced during 1963. Production had already ceased by the time Studebaker stopped car production in South Bend in December 1963. Officially the car was "not designated by model year, but incorporates changes whenever appropriate." The only determination of dating was the registration date, which designates 809 Avantis as 1964 models.

A rule of thumb, though not exactly accurate, is the square-bezel headlamp style, which appeared along with most detail changes in August 1963 for the "1964" models. But Studebaker's first announcement was that these were optional, and some round headlight cars were registered as '64s. Other August alterations included a new grille for the radiator scoop (negating some of Loewy's original thinking), chrome drip moldings above the doors, restyled parking lights, and smooth vinyl upholstery as standard (instead of smooth or [http://stephankrieger.net/index.php?title=Benutzer:IBBMabel6036728 Titan Rise Male Enhancement] perforated at the buyer's option). All Avantis were very fully equipped. The list of standard equipment included a high-output generator, three ashtrays, backup lights, 60 amp/hour battery, chrome engine parts, heater-defroster, clock, center console, internal trunk and hood releases, courtesy and trunk lamps, padded sun visors, tinted glass, and two-speed (later variable-speed) electric windshield wipers. When Studebaker abandoned the Avanti after 1964, two partners in a Studebaker dealership, Leo Newman and Nathan Altman, purchased the manufacturing rights. They formed the Avanti Motor Corporation and resumed building the car in an abandoned Studebaker plant, thus reviving one of the decade's great designs.
You might be surprised to learn that biking does not increase the size of your leg muscles in proportion to the amount of hours you spend cycling and the effort you exert. That's because of the lack of resistance generated by cycling. The muscles that get worked the most are the quads. Bicycling suggests that you perform off-bike exercises for your hamstrings, so as not to get that unbalanced look that some hard-core cyclists sport in their legs. Just as setting the incline on a treadmill higher forces you to push harder with your legs, so does going up a hill on a bicycle. Riding uphill requires that you push your body's weight and your bike weight with your quadriceps and hamstrings - and your gluteus maximus if you are riding in a sitting position. Cycling uses predominantly the quadriceps, calves and glutes during the seated pedal on the down stroke. Pedaling slower makes you do more of the work, with less assistance from the bike's mechanical apparatus. This is best done on an even grade or a slight incline rather than up a steep hill, which could lead to fatigue and exhaustion much sooner. The more resistance your muscles face from the pedals, either by gravity acting on your body and the bike weight or by your legs' efforts against the chain, the more you will stress muscle tissue - which will need to repair and recover, leading to muscle growth. The chosen gear should be high enough for you to maintain a sprint for at least thirty seconds with adequate resistance. In fact, in a period of just two months, you can achieve a muscle gain transformation while also seeing the variety of health benefits that come with it. Gain muscle by adding more weight to your lifting routine, training multiple joint and muscle groups at once through compound exercises, eating a lot of food and getting plenty of routine sleep. In just 10 weeks, or around two to three months, it's possible to see a 3-pound increase in lean muscle weight after routine training, according to a study published in ACSM's Health & Fitness Journal in August 2015. And building muscle and strength-training isn't just helpful for looking good; it also has countless health benefits that go beyond your muscular system. It can also lower your body fat, the risk of Type 2 diabetes and blood pressure. Within your three-month workout plan to gain muscle, it's also possible to see a difference in your mental health.

Weightlifting has been associated with improved cognitive function, self-esteem and Titan Rise Male Enhancement depression. For older people, building muscle can also protect the bones that are more likely to fracture and even provide more balance and stability to prevent falls. If you're starting out as a beginner, Titan Rise Male Enhancement first plan which lifting exercises you should do. Start with doing several sets of dumbbell incline presses, bicep curls, dumbbell squats and forearm curl-ups, and increase the weight when you're ready. Your diet will be key in your workout plan, because your muscles require calories and protein after training in order to be replenished and grow bigger. Harvard Health notes that, in particular, you should pack your meals with more protein to give your muscles the fuel they need. A study published in Sports Medicine in January 2016 found that protein helped increase lean body mass and muscle gain. That's because, when you train and lift weights, tiny tears occur in the muscle fibers and [https://www.ge.infn.it/wiki//gpu/index.php?title=Stay_Motivated_With_Building_Muscle TitanRise Official] trigger the immune system to repair them with amino acids. Protein aids in this recovery process by fueling amino acids to repair and grow muscle cells. Good sources of protein to spread throughout breakfast, later meals and snacks include protein powder added to smoothies, shakes or oatmeal, chicken and other types of meat. You can also add Greek yogurt, fish, eggs, nuts, lentils and other legumes to your diet. It's during sleep that your muscles actually grow and repair. Adults should get about seven to eight hours of sleep a night, according to Mayo Clinic. To improve your sleep, go to bed around the same time every night and give yourself plenty of time to fall asleep. Wake up at the same time each day to maintain sleep hygiene. But what exactly is it? Progressive overload is the steady increase of stress placed on your muscles during exercise over time. You can achieve this through various methods, including increasing weight, reps, or sets. Mind you; this method is not for the faint of heart. As the name suggests, it [https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/demands demands] more and more from your muscles. The line that sits between what is within the limit and beyond the limit is extended. Curious? Keep reading to find out more about it.

Progressive overload ensures that your muscles are continually challenged, which means they will continue to grow and [https://asicwiki.org/index.php?title=How_To_Build_Muscle_Be_Your_Plant-Based_Personal_Best TitanRise Official] adapt to the increasing demands you place on them.
Resistance bands can be used on their own to perform almost every exercise you can think of with traditional weights like dumbbells,' explains certified personal trainer Jack Hanrahan. Resistance bands exercises might look tame on the surface, but they can add serious value to your strength workouts. That's because unlike dumbbells, kettlebells and weight plates, which remain equally heavy throughout the entire rep, resistance bands become increasingly challenging as they're pulled apart. When you stretch a resistance band, it generates increasing amounts of tension, which your muscles have to overcome,' says Hanrahan. This can range from less than 1kg up to a whopping 90kg, depending on the thickness of the band. Besides turning up the heat on basic bodyweight movements like push-ups and squats, you can pair the band [https://wiki.fuzokudb.com/fdb/%E5%88%A9%E7%94%A8%E8%80%85:ElvinBlackwell2 improve nitric oxide] with other weightlifting kit to adjust the resistance for heavyweight results.

You can make an exercise easier, to improve your form - adding a resistance band to your pull-ups to bring your chest to the bar - or, conversely, more difficult. Resistance bands are a great way to increase the load on weights you already have,' says Tash Lankester, PT at FLEX Chelsea. For example, barbell deadlifts, take a long resistance band, hook the ends outside each of the plates, and then stand on the band,' she says. There is method to the resistance band madness, btw. When researchers from the University of Wisconsin measured the peak force and power of a squat, using resistance bands and free weights in tandem was found to have a significant advantage over using free weights alone. Need we say more? When you use a set weight to perform an exercise - say, a bicep curl - there's a point near the top of the rep 'where your muscles are actually not exposed to stimulus,' says Lankester.

With a resistance band, your muscle is under constant tension throughout the full range of motion. The result? Greater gains. Since resistance bands work with the natural force curve of the rep, they provide support where you're weaker. Resistance bands generate the least amount of tension in the bottom position of a lift when muscles are stretched,' says Hanrahan. Whether you're performing total-body exercises or targeting specific muscle groups, 'resistance bands are the most versatile loading method,' says Hanrahan. The versatility of resistance bands means you can control the angle you train at, making them 'great for targeting small muscle groups,' says Lankester. Since resistance bands force your muscles to work hard through the entire rep, there's no relying on momentum. They're also ideal for correcting harder-to-spot errors. Placing a band just above your knees during squats forces you to 'push your knees out against the band, strengthening your abductors and perfecting your form,' says Lankester.
To maximize muscle growth, you should choose a weight that brings you to fatigue, but not failure, by the last rep. Lifting to fatigue means you continue performing reps until you're on the brink of losing good form. The moment you feel your technique falter, end your set. Lifting to failure means performing reps until you physically cannot perform another rep, and often means ending the set with an incomplete rep. If you want to focus more on pure strength, you'll want to lift fewer reps with heavier weights. The proven rep range for increasing strength is one to six reps. This makes sense, because there's an inverse relationship between reps and load: If you do more reps, you'll have to use less weight. Conversely, if you do fewer reps, you should be able to increase the weight. Strength gains occur in response to heavy loads that challenge your muscles. If you don't consistently increase the weight you use over time, your strength building will stall. While more muscle is typically associated with more strength, that's not always the case. Some lifters with impressive physiques may look strong, but research shows that high-volume resistance training can increase muscle mass without increasing strength. Sure, people who are strong usually have big muscles, but they also have phenomenal mobility, stability and exercise technique, which all contribute to strength.

You can have big muscles without having the other characteristics it takes to truly be strong in a particular weightlifting move. So, to increase strength, lift one to six reps and improve your mobility, stability and technique. Lifting a lot of weight for just a few reps isn't necessarily the ticket to muscle town. If you love outdoor recreational activities and sports, or if you have a laborious job, consider lifting weights for muscular endurance. Muscular endurance refers to how long your muscles can keep moving under a given load. This differs from cardiovascular endurance and offers its own set of benefits, particularly increased stamina, which allows you to easily perform repetitive activities such as gardening or washing your car. Having good muscular endurance also opens you up to a world of recreational opportunities like hiking and kayaking. To improve muscular endurance through weight lifting, lift 15 or more reps for each set. Weight training for endurance usually incorporates short rest periods in addition to high rep ranges, so you should expect to use much less weight than you would use when trying to build muscle or strength.

Working to fatigue or failure isn't necessary if your goal is to build endurance. Muscle is a very metabolically active tissue, meaning it uses up a lot of energy, and can increase the number of calories you burn both at rest and while doing regular [https://itformula.ca/index.php?title=Fran_Allen_And_The_Social_Relevance_Of_Computer_Science_-_Danwin.com Titan Rise Daily] activities. High-volume resistance training elicits more of a cardio-like response, and it may burn more calories per session than low-volume resistance training. Let's get into it. Let's take a 1,800-calorie diet for example. If you want to consume 30 percent of that in protein, you'll multiply that number by 0.30 to get 540 calories and then divide it by four (4 calories equals 1 gram of protein), which will put you at 135 grams. Most people aiming for 30 percent of their calories from protein will have a protein intake of 100 to 150 grams a day, Catudal says. Consider tracking your calories. Remember, calories give your body the energy it needs to function, but can also be stored as fat. To keep that from happening, you have two options: Reduce your calorie intake or [https://wiki.drawnet.net/index.php?title=How_Horsepower_Works_Answers_That_Question Titan Rise Nutrition] increase your physical activity. If you're looking to lose weight (rather than stay at the same weight but increase muscle while decreasing fat), consider creating a calorie deficit. You'll first want to determine the baseline number of calories per day your body needs. If you want a more specific analysis, Khader recommends having a dietitian perform a bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), a highly accurate test for body fat and muscle mass done through electrodes to determine how many calories your body needs. You can also try calorie cycling (sometimes referred to as metabolic confusion), which involves changing up how many calories you aim to eat every day. There are a number of ways to implement the strategy-you may opt for a high-calorie day followed by a low-calorie day, or have an entire week of high-calorie days before having another week of low-calorie days (or somewhere in between). The thinking is that, by changing up your caloric intake, you confuse your body (and metabolism), [https://www.exeideas.com/?s=encouraging encouraging] it to burn more energy than if you just stayed at the same calorie intake each day. In order to lose weight, "the whole idea is to be in a calorie deficit overall," Dr. Ali notes. "You can do that intermittently, but different schedules and techniques work differently for different people." For some, it’s better to be in a calorie deficit every day; For others, calorie cycling feels more approachable, he says. If you don't want to focus too heavily on calories, that's definitely an option too, according to Oprea.

Curious? Keep reading to find out more about it.

Eating foods containing carbs and protein may help support your muscles after exercise. Experts recommend eating shortly after your workout for the most benefit. Consuming the right nutrients after exercise can help you optimize your fitness goals. During exercise, your muscles use up their glycogen, which is the body’s preferred fuel source. This results in your muscles being partially depleted of glycogen. Some of the proteins in your muscles can also be broken down and damaged during exercise. After your workout, your body rebuilds glycogen stores and regrows those muscle proteins. However, research suggests that eating the right nutrients soon after exercising can help your body do this faster. Keep reading to learn more about nutrition after workouts. Macronutrients are a group of nutrients your body needs in large quantities to provide the necessary energy it needs to [https://www.tumblr.com/search/function function]. The three [https://www.healthynewage.com/?s=macronutrients macronutrients] are protein, carbs, and fat. These may each play a role in your body’s post-workout recovery process.

Exercise triggers the breakdown of muscle protein. The rate at which this happens depends on several factors, such as training volume, intensity, [https://skylinkelevator.store/2017/01/23/viverra-metus-parturient-par/ Titan Rise Review] and frequency. Consuming an adequate amount of protein throughout the day gives your body the amino acids it needs to repair and rebuild these proteins. It also gives you the building blocks required to build new muscle tissue. The International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) recommends consuming 20 to 40 grams (g) of protein every 3 to 4 hours. This may help improve your exercise performance, muscle recovery, and body composition. It’s also important to consume protein before and after exercise. A 2017 study found that eating protein pre-workout and post-workout has a similar effect on muscle strength, hypertrophy, [https://support.ourarchives.online/index.php?title=10_Benefits_Of_An_Elliptical_Machine_Workout Titan Rise Male Enhancement] and body composition changes. Eating protein before exercise may also decrease the amount you need to eat after without affecting recovery. However, if you’re specifically aiming to build muscle, the ISSN recommends eating high quality protein within the first 2 hours after working out to stimulate the building blocks for new muscle tissue.

Your body’s glycogen stores are used as fuel during exercise, and consuming carbs after your workout helps replenish them. The rate at which your glycogen stores are used depends on the activity. For example, endurance sports cause your body to use more glycogen than resistance training. For this reason, if you participate in endurance sports like cycling and running, you might need to consume more carbs than someone engaging in weightlifting. Furthermore, insulin secretion, which promotes glycogen synthesis, may be better stimulated when carbs and protein are consumed at the same time. Within the first 4 hours after working out, the ISSN recommends consuming 0.4 g of carbs per pound of body weight (0.8 g of carbs per kg) with 0.1 to 0.2 g of protein per pound of body weight (0.2 to 0.4 g of protein per kg) during each hour to help restore glycogen faster. That said, these recommendations are targeted to the needs of endurance athletes. You may need less if you’re focusing on resistance training.

According to the ISSN, not enough evidence suggests whether you should limit fat intake after a workout. Many people think that eating fat after a workout slows digestion and inhibits the absorption of nutrients. While fat might slow down the absorption of your post-workout meal, it may not reduce its benefits. For example, a 2006 study showed that whole milk was more effective at promoting muscle growth after a workout than skim milk. Similarly, a 2017 study found that eating whole eggs instead of egg whites was more effective at promoting muscle protein synthesis post-workout. Having some fat in your post-workout meal may not affect your recovery. But more studies are needed on this topic. The timing of your meals is important to maximize recovery and muscle growth because your body’s ability to rebuild glycogen and protein is enhanced after exercise. Sports nutrition researchers have been studying nutrient timing for more than 40 years.

In the past, experts recommended eating your post-workout meal within 45 to 60 minutes. It was believed that delaying carb consumption by as little as 2 hours after a workout could lead to as much as 50% lower rates of glycogen synthesis. However, more recent research suggests the post-exercise window to maximize the muscular response to eating protein is wider than initially thought, up to as many as several hours. Consuming a meal rich in whole carbs and protein before exercising may also increase your post-workout food intake window, as you may still feel some of the benefits of the pre-workout meal. The primary goal of your post-workout meal is to supply your body with the right nutrients for [https://opensourcebridge.science/wiki/User:KaleyJean021786 Titan Rise Male Enhancement] adequate recovery and maximize your workout’s benefits. Choosing easily digested foods will promote faster nutrient absorption. Combinations of the foods above can create great meals that give you all the nutrients you need after exercise. Staying properly hydrated before and after your workout ensures the optimal internal environment for your body to maximize results.

How do you go from a glass half empty to a glass half full? They say willpower is a muscle. The more you train it, the easier it is to use. Use discipline to build one habit, and you make it easier to build habits. I think optimism works similarly. Being optimistic is a choice, and often it’s not an easy one. Most times, it’s just easier to give in. To see things "realistically". To be "pragmatic". To allow fear to mask itself as "rational thinking" and stop us from taking risks and achieving our goals. And that’s how the muscle gets weaker. Being optimistic is a multiplayer quest. We don’t make these choices in a vacuum. As you might imagine, the people closest to us drastically influence how we see the world. Even the most optimistic person in the world can start seeing the world differently if they’re surrounded by skeptics. Let me be clear - I’m not advocating for blind faith.
